An evaluation/demonstration copy of A-Shell is simply one that has not been licensed for your specific situation and use. You may therefore download A-Shell and use it for demonstration and/or evaluation without doing anything special; just install it and go. The unlicensed version is entirely functional, except for the following points:
- A deliberately annoying “nag” message will be displayed when you start A-Shell, and periodically while you run it
- You are limited to a single A-Shell user
- ISMA (d/ISAM) is not supported
All of the information you need to get up and running is included in the “Setup” section of the A-Shell Reference, which, along with various other references and help files, you can retrieve from our documentation page.
